VITRO CORPORATION STRENGTHENS DIVERSIFICATION SUCCESS WITH FAA WIN

 SILVER SPRING, Md., July 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Vitro Corporation announces the award of a $66.8 million contract with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The competitively won contract is for a 7-year period consisting of a 3-year base and two 2-year options. Vitro will provide engineering support services to the FAA Program Directorate for Surveillance headquartered in Washington, D.C.
 The award builds upon Vitro's radar engineering experience and represents a major business diversification initiative for the company in the area of civil aviation. As the prime contractor, Vitro will head a team to provide systems and hardware, and software engineering for radar facilities that support the National Airspace System network.
