VITAL: BETTER burgers.
The Monster Thickburger is packed with two 5oz slices of beef, four strips of bacon, three cheese slices and a splash of mayonnaise, all served up in a buttered bun. Each burger has a whopping 1420 calories and 107g of fat.
And scoffing just one Monster Thickburger would nearly use up all the calories you should eat in a day - 1940 for women and 2550 for men. But burger fans who want to lose a few pounds shouldn't panic.
There are a wide selection of healthier burgers available in most supermarket freezer sections.
Tesco's Quarter-Pounder burger should satisfy most appetites, but only contains 12.1 grams of fat. And for a really healthy treat that's low in fat but high in protein, try a Quorn burger.
