VITAFORT INTERNATIONAL CHAIRMAN AND CEO JOSEPH DALY RETIRES; PRESIDENT STEVEN WESTLUND BECOMES NEW CHAIRMAN AND CEO

 LOS ANGELES, Calif., Sept. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Vitafort International Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: VFRT) Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Joseph R. Daly announced his retirement as an officer and director during a special meeting of the board of directors held in Los Angeles on Wednesday, Sept. 15, 1993.
 Immediately following his retirement announcement, Daly nominated recently appointed President Steven Westlund to succeed him as chairman of the board and chief executive officer. The board unanimously approved Westlund's appointment. At the board's request, Daly will continue to serve the company as chairman emeritus and founder.
 Acting in his new capacity as chairman and CEO, Westlund nominated Mark Beychok to succeed him as president. Beychok has spent the last 13 years in the food industry in top management positions developing, manufacturing and marketing various lines of specialty dairy, bakery and other food products. Beychok's responsibilities will include developing, manufacturing and distribution for the company's products.
 Peter Benz, who has been acting as a financial consultant to the company since May, was elected to the board and appointed chief operating officer. Benz was formerly a senior vice president of a New York-based investment banking firm.
 Sheldon Schrager, former executive vice president of Columbia Pictures Corp., was also elected to the board. Schrager will assist the company in developing distribution patterns for the company's products in the over 20,000 theatrical movie houses in the United States.
 The appointment of Mark Beychok, Sheldon Schrager and Peter Benz completes the management team and positions the company to begin the roll-out of its low-fat and fat-free food products based on the company's recently acquired proprietary technologies.
