 VISA U.S.A. ANNOUNCES THREE NEW DIRECTORS
 SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Three leading bankers have


been elected to the board of directors of Visa U.S.A., the company announced today.
 Joining the Visa U.S.A. board is Thomas J. Kappock, vice chairman of Bank of Hawaii in Honolulu; Richard F. Chormann, president and chief operating officer of First of America Bank Corp. in Kalamazoo, Mich.; and Thomas C. Lynch of Chase Manhattan Corp. in New York.
 Visa U.S.A., a membership association of 16,000 financial institutions, is the nation's largest consumer payment system with 144 million cards issued.
