VIRGIN OF LIVERPOOL SET TO BRING MERSEYSIDE BACK TO THE BIG SCREEN.

THE cameras are rolling for the latest movie bringing Merseyside to the big screen. Ricky Tomlinson and Full Monty star Paul Barber play lead roles in Virgin of Liverpool. St Helens comic Johnny Vegas makes his big screen debut in the film, due to be released next year. It tells the story of a girl's bid to find a home for a statue of the Virgin Mary. Film crews will be working throughout the city.
