S. CRAIG GEORGE SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT AND DIRECTOR
TULSA, Okla., Nov. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Vintage Petroleum Inc. (NYSE: VPI) today announced it has appointed S. Craig George, 39 to the new position of senior vice president. He will be responsible for the company's production and exploration activities.
George has also been appointed a director of Vintage, filling an existing vacancy.
George was most recently named vice president of operations and
international with Sante Fe Minerals. He served in various management and executive capacities with Sante Fe Minerals and its predecessor, Andover Oil Co., for ten years. He has seven years' experience with Amoco Production Co. where he held management and engineering positions.
George obtained a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla in 1974.
