VINTAGE PETROLEUM ANNOUNCES ARBUCKLE DISCOVERY TULSA, Okla., Nov. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Vintage Petroleum Inc.
(NYSE: VPI) today announced a discovery in the Arbuckle zone in Carter County, Oklahoma. During completion test, the Hewitt 1-16 well flowed 506 barrels of oil, 228 barrels of water, and 734 MCF of gas per day. The discovery allowable for the well is expected to be 295 BOPD. Vintage is the operator and owns a 100 percent working interest before payout and an 86 percent working interest after payout. Construction of production facilities is in progress and the company plans to spud two delineation wells by year end.
