 VINCENT LABELLA NAMED GSBCA ACTING CHAIRMAN
 WASHINGTON, Sept. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Administrator Richard G.


Austin of the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) today named Vincent A. LaBella as acting chief judge and chairman of the General Services Board of Contract Appeals (GSBCA).
 LaBella presently serves as vice chairman of GSBCA, which adjudicates cases involving bid protests, suspensions and debarments and other cases as authorized under the Contract Disputes Act of 1978. The board has major responsibility for deciding cases involving data processing and telecommunications contracts.
 LaBella will serve until the appointment of a permanent chief judge and chairman. He succeeds Leonard J. Suchanek, who announced his resignation effective Sept. 6.
