VIEWLOGIC SPONSORS CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL MARLBORO, Mass., July 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Viewlogic Systems Inc.
(NASDAQ: VIEW), the Marlboro-based manufacturer of high-technology software, announced today that it has donated $1,000 to the Boston Children's Hospital.
As part of a Corporate Wellness Kickoff, Viewlogic sponsored a "Spring into Wellness" week. During this week, 50 Viewlogic employees participated in the two-mile walk-a-thon and received $10 per mile to benefit Children's Hospital. As a result of the event, Viewlogic presented a check for $1,000 to Judy Lindeman, development officer for Children's Hospital. "Viewlogic's corporate philosophy is to be an active contributing member of the community. The walk-a-thon to benefit Children's Hospital is just one example of the kinds of activities that we at Viewlogic sponsor and support," said Eugene Connolly, vice president of Human Resources for Viewlogic.
