RICK PARRY'S deafening silence during December/January when Rafael Benitez needed support sums up our CEO.
He says no-one is bigger than the club, so he should go now. George Gillett and Tom Hicks have no interest in the club itself, only the amount of money they can make.
On one of the most important days in the club's calendar neither of them will be at the Hillsborough memorial service. In this case actions speak louder than words.
RAFA has been concentrating on coaching and training his team to great effect.
What have the Board been doing?
SORRY from America. Please don't blame all of us for the debacle that is the Liverpool ownership.
Tom Hicks can't even manage his American sports franchises properly, let alone one on foreign soil. This is the guy that spent EUR252 million on Alex Rodriguez only to see his Texas Rangers squander the money at the bottom of the standings for years.
Can you imagine what Liverpool could do with pounds 126million in the summer transfer market?
Hopefully, he will relinquish his shares in the team soon and Liverpool can get on with winning the Premiership next season.
Rafa the best
RAFA has been one of the best managers we have had for a long, long time.
Just look at the Champions League; we've reached three semi-finals in the last four years and believe me, next season the Premiership title will come.
Look at Sir Alex Ferguson; it took him four years to get his first silverware, Rafa took one season to get us to the final of the Champions League, which is a fantastic job in itself, but then we also won it!
FOR his first season, Fernando Torres has been awesome. He does deserve to get an award when the player of the year prizes are handed out.
Boys football boots
TORRES has had a great first season...but looks like the awards are going to Ronaldo.
Next season should be very interesting, though.
I WOULD like to know how many of Ronaldo's goals were from penalties? I would be interested to know how many 'goals' he scored compared to Torres then.
Fifth a must
FINISHING fifth is still not guaranteed. But that has to be the minimum for Everton.
STEVEN Pienaar was a top loan signing by manager David Moyes and Everton really have to make sure they sign him up.
United in grief
MY thoughts go out to all those affected by the tragic events at Hillsborough. RIP the 96, You'll Never Walk Alone. We remember and we will never forget.
Show of spirit
WHO would have given Wigan any chance away to Chelsea, yet they get a point because they want to survive the drop.
If we want to be in Europe next year we must at least show the same commitment on Thursday, the sort of display we were producing earlier in the season. On present form we'll get nothing.
Robbery cop out
THE robbery would have been if Everton had won the game at Birmingham. Birmingham were by far the better team and had the better chances. Tim Howard deserves praise, though, for keeping his side in the game.
HOWARD claims the free-kick should have been retaken because Birmingham defender Jaidi was distracting him while standing in an offside position.
He's right. I couldn't believe what I was watching. How did he get away with such blatant interference?
Line of defence
IF someone had been on the Everton line it wouldn't have gone in. That Jags was making his way back there as the free kick was taken, makes me wonder why someone wasn't there in the first place.
We've been robbed several times this season. It's the inconsistency of referees that is most frustrating.
