VIDEOCART COMMENTS ON DECLINE IN STOCK PRICE

CHICAGO, March 12 /PRNewswire/ -- VideOcart, Inc. (NASDAQ: VCRTC), stated today that it knows of no reason for the recent decline in its stock price. The company states that, to its knowledge, there have been no adverse developments in its business since the private placement of convertible promissory notes completed on Feb. 5, 1993.
The company states that it is continuing to install stores with its existing inventory of ten button units, and has commenced rollout of its electronic couponing software into Pathmark and Delchamps grocery chains. It is recruiting manufacturer contracts for electronic couponing.
VideOcart is a micro-marketing media company which installs and maintains a communication network consisting of programmable and targetable digital communications to video displays affixed to grocery shopping carts. This communications network, now installed in supermarkets across the country, allows consumer product goods manufacturers to reach consumers at the exact aisle location of the brand being advertised or promoted with a flexible video message.
