VIDEO NASTY WALKS FREE; Perv sent sex tape to ex's work.
A JILTED boyfriend who sent a kinky video of himself and his girlfriend having sex to her bosses was yesterday given 18-months probation.
Twisted Wayne Paterson had the explicit sex tape delivered to the children's nursery where his former lover worked just days after their year-long fling ended.
Paterson, from Dundee, made several copies of the tape after splitting from his partner.
And just a day before posting a copy, Paterson sent the nursery assistant a text message saying "more than one tape" had been sent and that the video was "no bad" before promising to send her a copy.
Paterson's former lover discovered the package containing the tape addressed to "The Management" when she arrived early at her work on February 25.
After speaking to her mother and sister she went to the police, who found the package contained a video showing the couple indulging in a range of sexual activities, along with a letter in Paterson's handwriting.
At Dundee Sheriff Court, Paterson admitted conducting himself in a disorderly manner, causing alarm and distress to his ex-girlfriend and committing a breach of the peace.
Defence solicitor Ross Bennett told the court that the relationship had turned sour after items were removed from Paterson's house while his girlfriend was staying there and that he had also received threats from her family.
Sheriff Richard Davidson, who had earlier described Paterson's actions as "vicious rather than stupid and only too typical of a Dundonian man" told the 27-year-old he needed to "modify his attitudes".
Sheriff Davidson, who later apologised for his "Dundonian man" comment, added: "If you don't co-operate with the terms of the probation then you will be dealt with more severely."
Outside court, Paterson said: "I am happy with the outcome.
"It was done under severe pressure. I was getting threats from her and her family and I did what I did."
