VIDEO LOTTERY TECHNOLOGIES COMPLETES TECHNOLOGY LICENSING AGREEMENT FOR MANUFACTURING TERMINALS IN AUSTRALIA

 BOZEMAN, Mont., Dec. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Video Lottery Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ-NMS: VLTS), today announced it has completed arrangements for Datacraft Limited, of Victoria, Australia, to begin manufacturing VLT's multi-game video lottery terminals for the Victoria market under a technology licensing agreement.
 Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
 Following completion of the agreement, a major Australian gaming firm, Tattersall Sweep Consultation, placed an order with Datacraft for VLT terminals having a value of approximately $9 million Australian ($5.9 million U.S.).
 "We are pleased that Datacraft, a company known throughout the Pacific Rim as a leading manufacturer and distributor of data communications equipment, will be manufacturing gaming machines using our licensed technology," said Jim Davey, VLT's chief executive officer.
 VLT is the world's leading manufacturer of video lottery terminals. The company, through its principal subsidiaries --- Automated Wagering International, Inc., and Video Lottery Consultants, Inc. -- is also one of the principal operators of system software and related services for the on-line lottery and video lottery markets. In addition to Australia, the company's on-line and video lottery terminals are presently in operation in the United States, Canada and Western Europe.
