VIDEO LOTTERY TECHNOLOGIES ANNOUNCES RESIGNATION OF PRESIDENT/CEO

 BOZEMAN, Mont., Oct. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Video Lottery Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ-NMS: VLTS), announced the resignation of Rick Barber as president, chief operating officer and director. Mr. Barber left the company to pursue outside interests.
 VLT's chairman of the board, Dan Bower, said, "Mr. Barber was one of the company's founders and a valued colleague. We wish him the best."
 The company is presently in discussions for a replacement for Mr. Barber.
 VLT, through its principal subsidiaries, Video Lottery Consultants (VLC) and Automated Wagering International (AWI), is one of the largest providers of systems software, hardware and related services for the on- line and video lottery markets and is the leading manufacturer of video lottery terminals.
