 NET INCOME FOR THE THIRD QUARTER AND NINE MONTHS OF 1992
 BOZEMAN, Mont., Oct. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Video Lottery Technologies, Inc., (NASDAQ: VLTS) a leading operator of on-line lottery systems and manufacturer of video lottery terminals, today reported increased revenues and net income for the third quarter and nine months ended Sept. 30, 1992.
 Revenues for the third quarter increased to $38,324,000 from $7,925,000 in the same quarter of 1991. Net income for the third quarter increased to $1,648,000, or $0.13 per share, from $995,000, or $0.10 per share, in the prior-year period. Average common shares outstanding were 12,268,000 in the third quarter of 1992 compared to 9,503,000 in the third quarter of 1991.
 The increase in revenues primarily resulted from reporting the first full quarter of the company's new subsidiary, Automated Wagering International, Inc., along with a 222 percent increase in video lottery equipment sales revenues for the third quarter of 1992 compared to the same period of 1991. The increase in equipment sales revenues resulted from continued sales in Louisiana, commencement of video lottery operations in Alberta, Canada and contributions from established video lottery markets, including South Dakota, Montana and Atlantic Canada.
 For the nine-month period ended Sept. 30, 1992, revenues increased to $72,866,000 from $25,182,000 in the same period of 1991. Net income of $5,752,000, or $0.52 per share, was up from $3,028,000, or $0.38 per share, for the nine months of 1991. Average common shares outstanding were 10,996,000 in the nine months of 1992, compared to 7,918,000 in nine months of 1991.
 The company's on-line lottery system subsidiary, Automated Wagering International, Inc. contributed $24,548,000 of revenues in the third quarter of 1992.
 The company's video lottery manufacturing subsidiary, Video Lottery Consultants, Inc., accounted for $10,443,000 of third-quarter revenues, and the route operations contributed $3,333,000 in the third quarter.
 Video Lottery Technologies, through its principal subsidiaries, Automated Wagering International, Inc. and Video Lottery Consultants, Inc., is one of the principal operators of system software and related services for the on-line lottery and video lottery markets, as well as the leading manufacturer of video lottery terminals.
