 VIDEO DISPLAY DIVISION ENTERS HOME DEPOT STORES
 ATLANTA, Sept. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Video Display Corporation


(NASDAQ: VIDE) today announced that Vanco, Inc., a division of the company and domestic distributor of consumer electronic accessories, has begun shipping products to Home Depot (NYSE: HD) stores throughout its Southern Region.
 This region includes Georgia, Florida and Sou installation product lines. The merchandise will have a designated display area in each of the 44 Home Depot stores and will be sold under the Vanco brand name label.
 In the past, Vanco's primary markets have included electronics, distributors, retail electronics dealers, and third-party contractual repair shops.
 Kenneth Lirtzman, president of Vanco, Inc., said: "The shipment of Vanco products into Home Depot stores marks the entrance of the company into a whole new market segment. We plan to continue marketing new products to Home Depot to add to Vanco's initial line of displayed merchandise as well as initiate entrance into other regions of Home Depot." Commenting further on the success of its entrance into the mass retail merchandising market, Lirtzman went on the say: "Vanco recently participated at the National Hardware Show in Chicago. We feel confident that the positive reception of Vanco products will assist us to secure one or two similar customers over the next 12 months."
 Commenting on the expansion of Vanco's markets, Ronald D. Ordway, chairman and chief executive officer of Video Display, said: "This is a significant event for the company in its strategic growth plan for this particular division of Video Display. The sales growth generated by this type of merchandising along with the continued growth of the company's data display division will assist Video Display in meeting its goal of significant internal growth for fiscal 1993 and 1994."
