 FOR HURRICANE RELIEF
 MIAMI BEACH, Fla., Sept. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Under the personal direction of Victor Posner, various companies within DWG Corporation are providing disaster relief to victims of Hurricane Andrew.
 -- Arby's Inc. -- One of the first meal providers on the scene since Tuesday, Aug. 25, Arby's has had its mobile unit in the Cutler Ridge area and has given out over 20,000 hot roast beef sandwiches and RC Cola drinks.
 Beginning Sept. 1, Arby's mobile unit will move to Homestead to serve more than 25,000 sandwiches through the week. A second mobile unit is being dispatched to the area to double Arby's hot food offerings.
 -- Royal Crown Cola Co. -- Over 25,000 RC Cola soft drinks will be served free by the Arby's mobile unit in Homestead this week. Since Aug. 25, over 20,000 RC Colas have been served. By the end of the week, RC additionally will distribute 4,500 gallons of bottled water and over 2,000 cases of RC products.
 -- Royal Palm City Ice Company -- Beginning Sept. 2, a truck load of ice will be located at the National Guard Armory, next to City Hall in Homestead, to distribute free ice to hurricane victims. Since Aug. 25, Royal Palm City Ice has provided over 100,000 pounds of free ice to local fire, police, Metro-Dade Emergency Center operations and the American Red Cross to assist in their efforts.
 -- Public Gas Company -- Beginning Sept. 2, Public Gas Company trucks will be stationed at the National Guard Armory, next to City Hall in Homestead, providing free propane gas to the owners of gas grills who are using these for cooking during this emergency.
 -- Farrens Tree Surgeons of Jacksonville -- Over 100 tree trimming crews have been utilized by all southern Florida utilities including Florida Power & Light and Southern Bell to help clear fallen trees and debris so that power lines can be restored.
 A host of other efforts also are in various stages of development. Among these are having Arby's restaurants in Broward and Palm Beach counties serve as in-store collection points for donations to benefit the American Red Cross, as well as Royal Crown Cola's sponsorship of the Central American Independence Festival in order to allow admission proceeds to be used to benefit the hurricane recovery effort.
