VF CORPORATION ANNOUNCES RESIGNATION

 WYOMISSING, PA., Nov. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Paul R. Charron, executive vice president of VF Corporation (NYSE: VFC), announced today that Robert S. Stec, president of VF's Marithe & Francois Girbaud division, has resigned effective Dec. 1 to pursue other interests. Until a successor is named, the division will report directly to Charron.
 Said Charron, "We are sorry to learn of Bob's decision. During his nine years with the company he has made many significant contributions to VF and particularly to the Girbaud division. We wish him continued success in his future endeavors."
