VERSAR ANNOUNCES AWARD OF CONTRACT WITH THE ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS FOR GENERAL ENGINEERING SUPPORT

 SPRINGFIELD, Va., Nov. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Versar, Inc. (AMEX: VSR), announced that it has been awarded a three-year, $2 million Indefinite Delivery Contract with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to provide general engineering support to the corps' Mandatory Center of Expertise (MCX) located in Omaha, Neb. Under this contract, Versar will provide a wide range of services to MCX in support of Hazardous, Toxic and Radioactive Waste Districts and other Corp DOD customer environmental projects. Such services will include development of guidance specifications, technical reports and bulletins, engineering manuals, and other training materials. This program will help enhance the MCX organization's capabilities as a center of technical expertise in hazardous and radioactive waste remediation for the Army and other government agencies.
