VENT YOUR SPLEEN.

I WOULD like to touch on three letters in Thursday's Evening Chronicle. The first letter was regarding Margaret Thatcher. This woman totally destroyed this country. Basically her agenda was to get rid of the unions. One letter touched on the Royal family - nobody comes to see the Royal family. The one that really got me going was free bus passes for pensioners. I personally think they should be free. KP, West Denton.

THE sewer rat who stole a collection tin for the blind from a corner shop should be no surprise to many people. The Oxfam shop in Whickham had a camera in the window and were hoping for some decent money to augment the shop's takings. However, the same lowlife crept into the shop and removed the camera. How these people can live with their conscience is beyond me - DJ, Bensham.
