I COMMEND David Cameron for his prompt visit to Afghanistan, proving that despite the economic problems at home he's got his priorities right. But as with President Obama he would be unwise to think public opinion can be assuaged over this unpopular conflict. Ultimately it will be they and not the military bigwigs who will decide whether prime minister and president deserve a second term in office.

Will someone tell him that his Labour Party was in power for the last 13 years and they didn't solve the problem, in fact they made it worse I think.
