VENT YOUR SPLEEN.
There is now a pounds 50 fine to deter these selfish people who stop those with genuine problems getting near the supermarket. I only hope other supermarkets will follow the store's example. GH, Tyneside.
I'M afraid Bill Dodds' lengthy attack on the new operators of the Metro system, as far as I'm concerned, falls on deaf ears. What Bill Dodds is actually saying is keep the Metro public so that the employees can still be managed by woolly people who have really no hard business acumen in this regard.
As far as I'm concerned, if a German company takes over I'm quite certain that discipline, order and certainly some much more focus will be placed upon the public. And as far as I'm concerned I would prefer to see this new team get involved in the running of the Metro and then pass judgment, not whether they are good for the employees but in fact whether they are in fact good and better for the paying public.
DJ, Gateshead. ON Wednesday Labour admitted to tax rises and spending cuts for the many, but only after the election, whilst on Thursday we learned that our beloved MPs had spent pounds 10m of our money on expenses on top of their salaries.
Hopefully after the election we'll get a parliament back on planet Earth.
