V&B bolsters washbasin line.

Germany-based Villeroy & Boch (V&B), a top manufacturer of bathroom accessories, tableware and tiles, has complemented its Loop & Friends washbasin line with new shades and a new method of mounting.

Villeroy & Boch has unveiled its new round vessel basin as a semi-recessed mount.

This innovative manner of installation, in which the basin is partially lowered into the vanity unit perfectly fuses functionality with a modern look, a statement said.

Only part of the washbasin is visible, and it appears especially flat and filigree, though still offering the full basin depth.

To create suitable vanity units six models in the Shape collection have been modified and adapted to meet the demands of semi-recessed washbasins.

The vanity units come in the sizes 75, 135 and 165 cm and in a variety of versions with two and four sliders.

The 165 cm sized furniture can also be used to create attractive double solutions. A selection can be made between either a white gloss-lacquer or an anthracite gloss-lacquer front, as well as between the melamine colours Macassar, Merano, Arabesque and CrE me.

The washbasins are delivered with a stencil template that thus allows them to be mounted into marble or melamine countertops in the same way as conventionally installed washbasins.

With the trendy new colours in its Loop & Friends Colours, made in the easy-care CeramicPlus finish, Villeroy & Boch is once again setting individualistic accents in bathroom design, the statement said.

The current surface-mounted washbasins from Loop & Friends and the version for semi-recessed mounting will also be available in future in Espresso, a strong brown, and in Cassis, a highly current violet, the statement added. -- TradeArabia News Service
