Assistant Chief Constable Jo Farrell said: "NMPR and Immobilise are tools which link together to identify stolen property and return it to the rightful owner, as well as identifying those in possession of stolen goods. Immobilise links directly into the NMPR which is searched thousands of times each day by officers across the country in efforts to reunite property with the lawful owners."
