Urbitran acquires Ramp Corp.

Urbitran Associates, a leader in transportation planning and engineering services, has acquired the Ramp Corporation, a consulting firm that plans and develops parking and automotive service facilities, announced Dr. Michael F. Horodniceanu, president and chief executive officer of Urbitran Associates and former New York City Traffic Commissioner.

Huntington Station, New York-based Ramp Corporation has designed and planned a wide range of parking facilities throughout the United States, including the Rockefeller and Garage in New York City; the Capital Garage in Washington, D.C.; and the underground parking facility at Pershing Square in Los Angeles.

Urbitran Associates provides comprehensive planning and engineering services including highway design, bridge rehabilitation, construction inspection and supervision, structural engineering, parking facilities planning, design and operation, transit planning, and environmental analysis.
