Unveiled vet.

Robert E. Thompson of Lake Worth, Florida, who was awarded a Purple Heart after being wounded in combat in Europe in World War II, showed he still has some tire within him. On September 19, NBC Miami reports, a "naked, grizzled and grumpy" Thompson was "rudely awakened" by sounds of his growling dog in his backyard. Investigating, the veteran discovered an apparently drunk 26-year-old Jose Pasqual wrestling with his dog, a Rottweiler and Doberman pinscher mix. Pasqual, who didn't speak a lick of English, had climbed a fence to get into Thompson's yard. Pasqual tried talking to Thompson and took steps toward him. Thompson responded by firing warning shots and telling him to stay where he was. Thompson told the Palm Beach Post, "I fired a warning shot.... I wasn't going to let the guy get within six or eight feet of me. He spoke only Spanish, and I couldn't understand anything he was saying. I think he was more scared than I was, really." Pasqual waited patiently until Palm Beach sheriff's deputies arrived. The trespasser, who had no fixed address, was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on a burglary charge. Thompson said he enjoys sleeping in the nude and told the news that he was "stark naked" the entire time. So let this be a warning to trespassers, not only might you get shot but you also might have to see a 91-year-old man in his birthday suit!
