Unlocking chip SIMable shipped to 37 countries since launch.

TELECOMWORLDWIRE-7 August 2008-Unlocking chip SIMable shipped to 37 countries since launch(C)1994-2008 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

24/7 Mobile Solutions Ltd, the UK distributor of the SIMable phone unlocking chip, announced on 7 August, that it has now shipped purchases of the chip to a total of 37 different countries since it was launched in late April.

SIMable is an ultra thin chip, that when attached to a SIM card, immediately fools most mobile phones into thinking that they have been unlocked. It is compatible with the majority of mobile handsets, including all Nokia BB5 phones, which are becoming more and more difficult to be freed from their original Network. Whilst mobile phone unlocking is not illegal, it will in most cases invalidate the handset's warranty. SIMable requires no handset interference and thus the full manufacturer's guarantee remains intact. SIMable enables 100% functionality on all phones, including full 3G operation.

CallKey, 24/7 Mobile Solutions Ltd's sister company, is a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) supplying Travel SIMs, which help reduce roaming charges. This is a white label offering, where interested distributors can brand SIM cards as their own, and generate customised tariff rate sheets. SIM cards come with a +44 UK mobile number and offer free incoming calls in over 50 countries, as well as discounted outbound.
