University makes the quality grade.
INSPECTORS have given Teesside University a seal of approval.
The Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) has confirmed the quality and standards of provision at Teesside University following a formal review. A team of QAA reviewers visited the university in May and judged that its academic standards, the quality and enhancement of its student learning opportunities, and the quality of information about its learning opportunities all meet UK expectations.
It means the university can display the QAA Quality Mark, indicating to students it meets national requirements for standards and quality.
The review identified several examples of good practice at Teesside, including strategic engagement with local and regional employers.
Recommendations for improvement were also made.
