United States : UNDO SOFTWARE raises $1.25M from CAMBRIDGE ANGELS and JAAN TALLINN.

The firm behind a fast expanding reversible debugging tool, Undo Software, is lifting the lid on a funding round for the first time by saying that it has secured $1.25 million from Cambridge Angels and new investor, Jn Tallinn, one of the principle engineers engaged in the development of internet call service, Skype.

The firm has earlier raised funds from Cambridge Angels, but decided the figures unrevealed so as not to distract from the company's work, which unlike many software startups was producing early revenues.

Tallinn, who is also connected to Cambridge via the Artificial Intelligence (AI) watching station, the Centre for the Study of Existential Risk, said the Undo team and software impressed him, which he wished he could have used when he was creating software.

He noted : "In my career as a developer I'd have loved to have had access to UndoDB, and with software now critical to the world around us, the addressable market for this technology is potentially huge."
