United States : TOYOTA to unveil upcoming hydrogen fuel-cell concept car at JANUARY'S Consumer Electronics Show.

Toyota Motor Co. has decided not to present its upcoming hydrogen fuel-cell 'concept car' at an auto show but rather at January's Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, as the line between old-school automotive engineering and new technology has become so much indistinct.

Al though Toyota will make the sleek fuel cell vehicle ( FCV) concept car only in California starting sometime in 2015, the automaker sees the Nevada desert as the perfect place to announce its revolutionary car to America, where it would have a range of 310 miles.

National manager of advanced technology and business communications for Toyota Motor Sales USA, John Hanson, said : 'This is going to be a big deal and CES is the biggest trade show in the world of any kind and it draws a global, tech-oriented audience. It is a legitimate and logical launching pad for advanced technology in the automobile business.'
