United States : Sutter Gold to start gold mining before the year end.

Sutter Gold Mining Inc. says it is all set to commence gold mining and gold production before the end of the year.

Bob Hutmacher, chief financial officer of the company said construction is underway above-ground buildings and site work, and the company has made progress in expanding its underground shafts. He said they expect its first gold pour in December.

Sutter Gold, based in Vancouver, British Columbia is developing its Lincoln Mine Project just outside of Sutter Creek in Amador County.

The modern gold mine is located in the the most productive gold district of California s Mother Lode.

The exterior of the mine s mill building has been completed and the equipment is being installed. Currently, the construction of a shop and staff building is going on.

Other site work is also getting completed and the mine has started hiring employees. Hutmacher said they will employ about 100 people. Presently, the site is a flurry of construction contractors and crew.

Additional two access tunnels are added to the mine s main shaft, the Stringbean Alley Decline.

The main decline is a modern mine sufficiently big for heavy trucks to pass each other.

Though the mine will be ready to start production this year, full production will begin only in the first half of next year.
