United States : Sharp Commemorates Two Millionth Solar Panel Production at Its Assemble Operation.

Sharp Electronics Corporation, a developer of one-of-a-kind home entertainment products, appliances, networked multifunctional office solutions, solar energy solutions and mobile communication and information tools, has claimed that their assembly operation at Sharp Manufacturing Company of America (SMCA) in Memphis has so far manufactured more than two million solar panels.

CEO and Chairman of Sharp Electronics Corporation, Kozo Takahashi has said that the Sharp is very proud to reach a milestone of this magnitude. Having the two millionth panel roll off of the production lines is a testament to the growing demand for solar electricity, and their steadfast dedication to growing the solar electricity market. This has been a tremendous achievement for Sharp and the entire clean tech sector.
