United States : Richard Bothwell Joins Parsons Brinckerhoff.

Richard Bothwell has been named a Senior Supervising Engineer in the Baltimore office of Parsons Brinckerhoff, a global infrastructure strategic consulting, engineering, and program/construction management organization.

In his new position, Mr. Bothwell will manage power system and controls engineering projects throughout Maryland. He has over 40 years of experience designing power projects for electric utility companies. Prior to joining Parsons Brinckerhoff, he was a project engineer with a Pennsylvania consulting engineering firm, responsible for project planning, management, engineering, and construction support for projects involving high-voltage substations, electric system protection and control, physical switchyard assets, and generation facilities. He previously served as an engineer with Public Service of New Mexico, Carolina Power & Light Company, Old Dominion Electric Cooperative, and Gilbert/Commonwealth.

Mr. Bothwell received a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from North Carolina State University. He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Industry Applications Society, and Power Engineering Society.
