United States : Northwest Oregon: Row River Trail Improvement Project.

The Bureau of Land Managements (BLM) Northwest Oregon District, Upper Willamette Field Office is now accepting comments on the Row River Trail Improvement Project. This project is a great example of the BLMs commitment to serving the American family by being good neighbors, supporting traditional land uses such as grazing, and providing access to hunting, fishing, and other recreational opportunities.

A public meeting will be held on March 7, 2018 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the City of Cottage Grove City Hall, located at 400 E. Main Street in Cottage Grove, OR. The project includes a proposal to repave several sections of the trail, as well as replace six failing culverts between mile posts 8.3 and 10.1. The work would occur between July 9 and November 2, 2018 and require a temporary closure of the trail for public safety.
