United States : National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency awards geospatial data management contract to BAE.

The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency has awarded a data management contract to BAE.

As per the contract, BAE will be responsible to modernize the Information Store (iSToRE) knowledge management system, supporting the National System for Geospatial Intelligence.

BAE will also integrate its commercial GXP Xplorer data management software.

BAE said, GXP Xplorer software licenses will be deployed globally to support the agency's transition from legacy image product libraries to commercial-based information storage capabilities.

The licenses will support worldwide intelligence operations by enhancing information sharing amongst Joint Task Force Headquarters, intelligence centers, and forward-deployed war fighters.
