United States : NORTHWEST SAVINGS BANK buys B.J. PETRUSO AGENCY.

Northwest Savings Bank in Warren, Pennsylvania, announced that it has acquired a property/casualty and life insurance agency sited in Meadville, Pennsylvania, B.J. Petruso Agency.

B.J. Petruso Agency provides personal and business insurance services for production, nonprofit, education, municipal, service sector and professional clients in the northwestern Pennsylvania region.

Ex-owner of B.J. Petruso Agency, Dan Petruso, will serve as vice president of Northwest Insurance Services, an insurance arm of Northwest Savings Bank.

B.J. Petruso Agency will still operate from its existing site in Meadville.

Northwest Savings Bank said the deal will boost its coverage in northwestern Pennsylvania and provide customers with another local point of contact.

Financial terms of the deal are confidential.
