United States : M&T BANK CORP. secures exclusive contracts from NFTA.

M&T Bank Corp. has secured exclusive contracts from Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority (NFTA), to offer ATM services at both Buffalo Niagara International Airport and Niagara Falls International Airport.

With this, M&T Bank will have six ATMs at BNIA, with two before security one downstairs in the baggage claim area and one upstairs in the ticketing area, and four after security in the two concourses and food court. M&T Bank has one ATM in Niagara Falls airport, in the food court before security.

The Buffalo contract has 3-year term, which can be renewed annually for 2 years at NFTA s preference. The Niagara Falls contract has 1-year term, which can be renewed annually up to 4 times, for a total of 5 years, if ATM manages over 6,200 transactions from non-M&T customers. If the machine manages at least 16,000 non-M&T transactions, a second ATM can be installed. The machines will provide several language options, access for visually impaired customers, touch screens and fast-cash options.

Howard A. Zemsky, Chairman of NFTA, said, Partnering with M&T Bank allows us to provide Buffalo Niagara residents and out-of-town guests with convenient access to cash on the fly.

Darren King, EVP of retail banking at M&T Bank, said, Providing ATM services at BNIA and NFIA allows us to offer additional convenience to our Buffalo customers, as well as those travelers visiting the area.
