United States : BIOMASS ENERGY Centre commences ENERGY TRAIL at Biomass Plant.

At the Hill of Banchory Biomass Energy Centre recently commenced officially with an exciting new educational Energy Trail.

The first to experience the new Energy Trail was Pupils attended by Jim Dewar of Forestry Commission Scotland.

At the HOBESCO Biomass Energy, trail is aimed to train children concerning the renewable energy and the environment.

He said: I was delighted to have been asked to open the Trail. It is clear from the enthusiastic interaction shown by local school children that the layout, content and presentation of how forests can deliver a variety of habitats, a productive resource and a place in the landscape captured their full attention.

Primary 6 pupil Emma Strachan said: The Energy Trail was fun to do and we learned lots about the forest environment.
