United States : BANK OF HAWAII plans to inaugurate new branch at old Unocal 76 site in MANOA.

Bank of Hawaii has announced the plan to inaugurate new standalone branch at the old Unocal 76 gas station site in Manoa, exchanging its existing branch at the Manoa Marketplace.

The bank targets on reconstructing the site at 2809 East Manoa Road and building a 3,500-square-foot branch. In the second or third quarter of 2016, Bank of Hawaii expects to inaugurate the new branch.

The bank is leasing the land, which is owned by Okamura Family Investments LLC.

Bank spokeswoman Melissa Torres-Laing stated that plans are still in the early stage, however the new branch will offer greater visibility.
