United States : AMERINET partners with SHI to help ANTHC save on IT purchase and adopt IDN.

A major national healthcare solutions firm, Amerinet Inc., has entered a partnership with provider SHI to assist the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) in saving 20-30 percent on IT purchases and in adopting an Integrated Delivery Network (IDN).

A not-for-profit tribal health organization, the ANTHC, is made of seven medical centers, 180 clinics and 56 critical access facilities.

Looking to boost efficiency and cut costs, the organization decided to build an IDN to unite their organizations and manage the consumption of assets.

Computer hardware and software was one area of focus and opportunity.

Its partnership with Amerinet and the manufacturer enabled SHI to secure a Preferred Distribution Agreement, driving substantial savings. In addition, SHI saved the group huge shipping costs by arranging consolidated, cost-effective shipments from the manufacturer to Alaska.

SHI and Amerinet are jointly saving the ANTHC 20-30 percent on computer hardware and software, and helping the group execute an IDN agreement.
