United States : AA to launch two new daily services to UK from NEW YORK JFK.
American Airlines will start two new daily services to Birmingham and Edinburgh from New York JFK in 2015.
The routes are planned to start on May 7 using B757-200 aircraft.
The flight AA130 will leave from JFK at 1900 and reach Birmingham airport at 0710 the next day. Return service AA131 will depart Birmingham at 1000 and reach New York at 1255 local time.

This flight gives our customers on both sides of the Atlantic a new option for travel between the United States and England. Our extensive network beyond New York City will provide tremendous access between key business and leisure markets and Birmingham.
The flight AA278 will leave New York at 1910 and reach Edinburgh airport at 0715 the following day. Return flight AA279 will depart from Edinburgh at 0915 and reach JFK at 1150 local time.
Also, the US carrier will start a daily flight connecting Miami and Frankfurt on May 14, with outbound flight AA250 leaving Miami at 1445 and reaching Frankfurt at 0615 the following day. The return flight AA251 will leave Frankfurt at 1000 and arrive in Miami at 1455 local time.
