United Kingdom : Five companies win spots on UNITED KINGDOM s U.K. Managed Email Services Framework IDIQ contract.

Accenture, British Telecom, Computer Sciences Corp., General Dynamics Information Technology and Vodafone are the five firms to have won spots on the United Kingdom s U.K. Managed Email Services Framework IDIQ contract.

The five firms will contend to help the United Kingdom s policy to centrally administer the purchase of common goods and services through an incorporated purchase function that spans four years, as per the contract.

General Dynamics said that the firm intends to offer managed email facilities, delivery and migration services, secure email, secure message and routing, mobile device management, white pages and directory services to a various public and non-profit organizations.

The U.K. government agency that let the agreement, the firms will offer core services such as secure email gateway, mobile device management, white pages and directory service and email router, said Crown Commercial Service.
