United Kingdom : 26 NOVEMBER : AQUIS EXCHANGE to be launched.

On 26 November 2013, Aquis Exchange, the pan-European equity trading exchange, will be launched.

During the first phase, the company will be offering trade in the UK, French and Dutch blue-chip stocks.

It will include the constituent stocks of the FTSE 100, CAC 40 and AEX 25.

A Multilateral Trading Facility (MTF), Aquis Exchange is regulated by the UK s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

In mid-January, Aquis Exchange would add stocks from further European markets.

Warsaw Stock Exchange and Aquis Exchange entered into an agreement in August 2013, whereby WSE will buy a stake in Aquis Exchange representing 30% of the total vote at the Aquis Exchange General Meeting, the right to a 30% share of the profit of the firm, and the right to nominate two representatives to the Aquis Exchange Board of Directors.
