MHA MacIntrye Hudson has bought an expert provider of audit services to the investment industry, KP Audit, which has a professional staff of 20, serving customers from offices in London and the Cayman Islands.

KP Audit's London team will move to MHA MacIntyre Hudson's City office and MHA MacIntyre Hudson will retain the KP Audit Cayman Islands office the company's first foreign office.

Deb Weston, managing partner of KP Audit and David Walker, partner, will both be appointed as partners in MHA MacIntyre Hudson.

Weston stated, "My team and I are excited to be joining MHA MacIntyre Hudson. There is a good cultural fit between our organisations, and our clients will benefit enormously from the range of services and reach available to them through MHA MacIntyre Hudson and Baker Tilly International."

Chairman of MHA MacIntyre Hudson, Rakesh Shaunak, added, "I'm delighted to welcome our new colleagues and clients to the firm. This acquisition provides an immediate and material entry into a part of the investment market that is key to delivering the firms strategic plan. This is a very significant deal for the firm."
