United Arab Emirates : SCHNEIDER to leverage from the growing demand for cloud and virtualized environments.

Global expert in power management, Schneider Electric has experienced a stable growth of 4% during the last quarter, as well as 9% in the first nine months of this year for the Rest of the World reporting region that includes the Gulf region.

The results were declared at a press briefing held on the first day of Schneider Electric's Middle East Datacenter Solutions Conference titled 'Power to the Cloud'. The session was attended by senior management executives from Schneider Electric which included Mike Hughes, Senior VP, EMEA, IT Business, Goktug Gur, Country President, UAE and Oman, Paul-Francois Cattier, Global Vice-President - Datacenters, IT Business, and Christian Bertrand, Vice-President, MEA - IT Business.

Schneider Electric executives say that the evolving trend of datacenter-focused IT strategies make the synchronization of IT and facilities management necessary to generate optimal results. The experts also said that virtualization and cloud computing promise a big change in services automation and provisioning through driving increased efficiencies within the datacenter.

Paul-Francois Cattier said: "As one of the top three players in datacenter infrastructure management, Schneider Electric is in a unique position to bring customers innovative solutions that meet the most specific of requirements. Our emphasis on quality ensures that our solutions are designed, developed and delivered by leading technologists."

Schneider Electric is focusing on cloud virtualization at a time when IT spending in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) is set to increase by 1.4% in 2012 and amount to $1.154 trillion by 2013.

The company aims to leverage from the growing demand for cloud and virtualized environments.
