United Airlines and Lufthansa expand marketing agreement.
United Airlines is to expand its marketing agreement with its Star Alliance partner, Lufthansa.
The two airlines have reportedly agreed to share revenues on North Atlantic flights. The agreement also covers both airlines coordinating prices for air fares, as well as schedules, customer service and marketing.
Meanwhile, United Airlines' Star Alliance partners are considering putting money into the struggling carrier, which may be forced to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, reported Reuters.
