Unique bottle design has enhanced shelf appeal.
The eye-catching Robinsons Fruit Spring 440ml PET bottle produced by Amcor PET Packaging's Gresford, UK plant underlines a close working partnership. The design, jointly developed by Amcor and its customer Britvic Soft Drinks, has established a distinct identity fur the brand on shelf, with moulded fruit shapes over the bottle, creating a unique appearance and enhanced appeal at the point of sale. Equally important, the easy-to-grip bottle features a wide neck for easy drinking and maximum consumer convenience. A tamper-evidence closure offers additional reassurance and product protection. The finished design also contributes to the effective labelling of the bottle. The recessed label panel and corresponding metallised front label are positioned at a slight angle, making accurate placement vital. To facilitate this, the PET bottle features two recesses in its base. The bottles are then placed into special guides on the filling line to ensure each one is correctly orientated to receive the label. The technical teams at Amcor and Britvic worked closely together to translate the design concept into a practical user-friendly bottle and meet the required launch deadlines.
