Union Budget 2014-15 Will Empower The Differently Abled Citizens.

India, July 10 -- Introduction of new currency notes with Braille makes sense, and setting up of 15 new Braille presses is a positive step.

We welcome today's (budget 2014-15) announcement to introduce new schemes for disabled people by the Hon'ble Finance Minister. We, at Jindal SAW, are glad that the government will soon introduce schemes for the visually challenged - and set up an inclusive society for differently abled (people).

This will assist the disabled persons to purchase Aids and Appliances. The government has also proposed to establish National Level Institutes for Universal Inclusive Design and Mental Health Rehabilitation along with a Centre for Disability Sports. We hope for a speedy implementation of these recommendations.

Introducition of new currency notes with Braille makes sense, and setting up of 15 new Braille presses is a positive step. This will assist the differently abled to identify notes, be self dependant, which will enable them to enjoy equal opportunities to lead an empowered life with dignity.
