Union Bank Introduces Combined Cash and Check Processing Services in Las Vegas Market.

SAN FRANCISCO -- As part of an ongoing strategy to strengthen its national presence and processing capabilities, Union Bank of California, N.A. is launching a combined cash and check deposits service for the Las Vegas, Nevada market.

Corporate and business customers will now have the ability to make mixed deposits at a virtual cash vault location. The service features same day cash deposit verification and electronic image processing of check items. Customers will save time and money by sending both cash and check deposits to one location. In addition, customers do not have to change their current procedures to enjoy the benefits of same day posting of deposits, single point of contact for customer service, and consolidated banking relationships with Union Bank.

"We are excited to be able to provide our customers in the Las Vegas market with an integrated solution to accommodate their unique banking needs, and consolidate their banking relationships," said Alok Ahuja, senior vice president and director of product management and development.

The Bank currently has an expanded cash vault network of 110 locations across the country. This capability enables cash deposits and change orders to be posted to a single account for simplified reconciliation.
