Union Bank (UNB) has said that managing director, Todd Hollander, who heads the bank's Business Banking Group, has been named vice chairman of the Consumer Bankers Association's (CBA) Small Business Banking Committee.

In the new role, Hollander will help set the committee's mission, annual goals and agenda. His role also includes steering the committee through regulatory and legislative issues affecting small business lending. His current role became effective January 1, 2015. In October 2015, Hollander will begin serving a two-year term as the committee's chairman until October 2017.

With over 24-years of experience, Hollander joined Union Bank in 2010 as head of the Business Banking group. Previously, he served as executive vice president for Citizens Business Bank (NASDAQ: CVBF), and he also held various senior executive positions at California National Bank (OTC: NCNB), Pacific National Bank (PNB) and U.S. Bank (NYSE: USB). Hollander started his banking career in Orange County with Wells Fargo Bank (NYSE: WFC), working in its business banking, retail and commercial groups.
